The devotee at the lower right who is being threatened by an alligator at the lower left is invoking protection from the wrathful dakini Ngan ne ma who is known for her magical skill in thwarting the enemies of Buddhism. Ngan ne ma is the principal dakini of the protective deity Kshetrapala. Her efficacy is shown by the flames surrounding her and her attributes and dress. In her left hand she holds a trident impaling a human corpse while holding aloft a flayed human skin, and wearing an animal skin as loincloth.
